Having Fun With Pronouns
(he, she, and they)

*Includes:
- 3 pronoun mats (he, she, they) slides 3 and 4

- 4 individual mats for students to store cards on (slides 5 and 6)
- 72 choosing the correct pronoun cards

- 72 fill in the blank cards

- 72 picture cards, for students to create his/her own sentence, using the correct pronoun

- 72 sentence strips: SLP may cut apart the words and have student form the sentence or have students match the strip to the picture.  Then the student would produce the sentence aloud.

- 18 name/people cards for students to determine the correct pronoun.

- 18 picture cards with sentences for students to determine the correct pronoun

- 18 picture cards with names for students to determine the correct pronoun. 
 
 
 

                                           Students will determine the correct pronoun given choices of he, she, and they.
 
                                            Students will fill in the blank using pronouns- he, she, or they.

                                          Students will correctly put together a students, cards can be used to help students formulate sentences.
 
Students or SLP will read the name/object on the card and determine what mat to place the card on (he, she, or they).

What's Underneath Your Christmas Tree (R, R blends, S, S blends, and Th words)
 
 
This activity will target R, R blends (initial position), S, S blends (initial position), and Th words.  Students will say the target word at the word level, phrase level, or sentence level and then place their presents underneath their Christmas Tree, but be careful of those presents without bows!

SLP Tuesday Trivia August 6th, 2013

I will be hosting SLP Tuesday Trivia this Tuesday, August 6, on Facebook at A Speechie's World (https://www.facebook.com/ASpeechiesWorld) at 9:00 pm (EST).  There will be a total of four rounds with three questions each.  Two winners will be chosen from each round (total of 8 winners) and then will choose a free product of their choice (sorry everyone, but bundles will not be included). During each round, answers need to be e-mailed to missiewagoner@gmail.com due to Facebook regulations.  Winners will be chosen at random using random.org.  After five minutes, two winners who answered all three questions correctly will be announced on my page.  Please email me if you have any questions.  Good luck and have fun everyone!!!!!!

Construction Bundle: Categorization, What Goes Together, and Synonyms/Antonyms


Categories
To play:
-Name items in a category (40 cards and 8 blank cards)- Students must name at least three items on the card in order to store it on their mat.  To make it more of a game type, add the cards in the pile.  The student with the most points is the game winner.
-Name the category (40 cards)- Student must name the category on the given card.  If the student answers correctly, they are able to keep the card. To make it more of a game type, add the cards in the pile.  The student with the most points is the game winner.
-Category mats (56 picture, 7 mats, and 8 blank cards)- Students sort picture cards (items) to their correct category mat.
-Contains: 136 cards, 16 blank cards, 2 game point mats,7 category sorting mats, and 8 value cards (use as desired).
 
 




 
What Goes Together
Directions:
-Students will choose a card and say an object or item that goes with the given card.  Or use these cards and play a memory game.  If a pair is found, the student may place the pair onto their individual mat.
-These cards can also be used to target describing objects, categorizing objects, etc.
Contains:
-1 open ended game board
-2 individual mats
-120 word cards (60 pairs) and 8 blank cards
-32 picture cards (16 pairs)

1st through 3rd (LEVEL 1)
4th through 6th (LEVEL 2)
*Can be used as a matching game, go fish, etc.

Robotic Synonyms and Antonyms

 SYNONYMS (Level 1 and Level 2) and ANTONYMS (Level 1 and Level 2)
-Students match the synonyms. If the student matches the synonyms correctly, they may place the cards on their mat. You may also play using the point values using the provided cards. The player with the most cards wins!
ANTONYMS
-Students match the antonyms. If the student matches the antonyms correctly, they receive the point value of the card chosen.
-The student with the most cards wins!

-64 cards (green frames)
-2 tables (one blank)
-8 blank cards to create your own synonyms

ROBOTIC GAME BOARDS:
-Students must provide a synonym or antonym (as chosen by the SLP) to the word given in order to advance the number of spaces on the card chosen.

Roundup Idioms


Idioms
1)Print all cards. Students play the game by drawing a card.  Each card contains an idiom.  The student must correctly explain the idiom to move along the game board.  If they explain correctly the student is able to move, if not the student remains on the same spot.
2)This game can also be played as a matching game.  Match the idiom with the definition card.
3)Complete the idiom.  This can also be played as a memory game.  A student will choose two cards and determine if the cards chosen complete the idiom (e.g., In hot…water).  After the idiom is completed, the student can explain the meaning or use the idiom in a sentence.
Contains:
-Six point value cards
-4 open ended game boards
-102 idiom and definition cards (51 idioms) plus 8 blank cards
- 40 complete the idiom (20 idioms) plus 8 blank cards
-1 worksheet to create sentences
-3 tables (idiom, explain the meaning, and use it in a sentence)
