Roundup Idioms

Idioms
1)Print all cards. Students play the game by drawing a card.  Each card contains an idiom.  The student must correctly explain the idiom to move along the game board.  If they explain correctly the student is able to move, if not the student remains on the same spot.
2)This game can also be played as a matching game.  Match the idiom with the definition card.
3)Complete the idiom.  This can also be played as a memory game.  A student will choose two cards and determine if the cards chosen complete the idiom (e.g., In hot…water).  After the idiom is completed, the student can explain the meaning or use the idiom in a sentence.
