To play:

*Students will match the correct prefix to the root word .  Students will then write each match on their recording sheet.

*For extra practice, have students use one word from each prefix and create a sentence.

To play:

*Students will sort words to the suffix mat.  If students correctly place the word on the correct mat, the student is able to keep the card. The student with the most cards is the winner.

*For extra practice have students write one sentence for each suffix.
