St. Patrick's Day Expressive Language

Includes:
1) Pot of Gold: Multiple Meaning Words (45 cards)
-Place all coin cards in a pile. Have the student draw a card and give two meanings for the given word. If the student answers correctly, they keep their card and place it onto their pot of gold mat.
Contains:
-Two mats
-six special cards (make at least two copies)
-45 cards
-Two tables to practice writing sentences

2) Identifying the Category: (24 cards)- Students choose a card and identify the category from a list of three items. If answered correctly, the student keeps the card.
Contains:
-One game board
-24 cards


3) Shamrocks: Naming items in a Category: (30 cards)- Students choose a card. They must name at least three items in the category. If the student correctly names at least three items, they keep the card. If answer incorrectly, the card goes back into the pile.

-One game board
-30 cards

4) St. Patty’s Day Hats: Compare/Contrast (24 cards)- Print each St. Patty’s hats card. After students draw a card, have them describe how the two items are the same
and how they are different.
Contains:
-Six cue cards
-24 Compare and Contrast cards
-Six blank cards

5) Leprechauns: Asking Questions (48 cards)- Students play the game by drawing a card that contains an answer. The student need to develop an appropriate question to match the answer. If they ask a question correctly the student keeps the card.

-Six cue cards
-Six special cards
-48 cards
