Construction: Expressive Language

This expressive language packet I simply love the clip-art and I hope you do too.

The packet includes:
*Multiple meaning words, identifying a category, naming items in a category, compare/contrast, developing questions, changing statements into questions, describing picture cards, and explaining idioms.
*Total of 247 cards, four mats, two open-ended game boards, 17 special cards, and a table to write multiple meaning sentences.

Print all construction signs/objects cards. Place all cards in a pile.  Have students draw a card and give two meanings for the given word. If they answer correctly the student keeps the card and places it on their tow truck mat.  The student that collects all six object cards first is the game winner.

2) Identifying a category- 24 cards

*Students choose a category card. The student must identify the category in order to keep the card or to move along the game board. The first student to reach finish is the game winner.
